About Novas QC

Who We Are

Novas QC is the industrial & TIC inspection division of the Novas QC group. Founded in 2016, we provide independent third-party inspection services to global TIC bodies (TÜV Rheinland, TÜV SÜD, SGS, Bureau Veritas, Applus+, Intertek, Moody) and to overseas buyers / EPC quality teams in China.

We are a local subcontractor — not a TIC body. We provide the field witness, NDT, and reporting work that supports the certification process. Certifications (CE, PED, etc.) are issued by the engaging TIC body or by the buyer. Our inspection reports are factual work records, not certificates.

Our team operates across China with 30+ full-time inspectors and a 300+ partner-inspector network, covering all major industrial hubs within typically 48 hours of mobilization.

• ISO 9001 quality management system (certified QMS for inspection services)
• Professional liability insurance (with certificate of insurance available on request)
• Inspector qualifications include AWS CWI (Certified Welding Inspector), NDT Level II (ISO 9712 / SNT-TC-1A), API 5CT-trained auditor, and IEC 61400 wind-turbine inspection familiarity
• NDT capability: RT, UT, MT, PT (and VT, PMI)
• Codes & standards: ASME VIII, B31.1, B31.3, API 5CT/5B/6A/6D, EN 1090, EN 13445, PED 2014/68/EU, GB 150, IEC 61400, GB 50205, AWS D1.1
• Languages: English reports (default), Chinese on request, conversational Mandarin + English in field
• Other-language coordinators: Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic (for the broader Novas QC client base)

Geographic Coverage

Our Chinese inspectors cover all major industrial hubs:

• Tier 1 (24-hr mobilization typical): Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Shandong, Guangdong
• Tier 2 (48-hr typical): Hebei, Liaoning, Beijing, Tianjin, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan, Chongqing
• Tier 3/4 (2-3 days): other provinces and remote sites
• Offshore yards: covered (Shanghai, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Shandong)

Subcontractor Relationships

We work as a local subcontractor to:

• TÜV Rheinland, TÜV SÜD, SGS, Bureau Veritas, Applus+, Intertek, Moody International
• OEM buyers / EPC quality teams (direct contracts for inspection services)
• Smaller TIC bodies and regional inspection firms seeking local Chinese inspectors

We do NOT issue CE marks, PED conformity certificates, or other regulatory approvals. These are issued by the engaging TIC body or by the buyer/manufacturer. Our role is to provide the local inspection work record that supports the certification process.

Group Structure

Novas QC is the industrial & TIC inspection division of the Novas QC group. The same parent brand runs a separate consumer-goods inspection division at www.novasqc.com (consumer-products, loading checks, supplier audits for European buyers) and a Russian-language site at www.novasqc.ru for the Russian market. Each division operates independently under the same brand.

Engagement Process

1. Initial enquiry: Send project scope, ITP, schedule, supplier location, and any required TIC template.
2. Quote: Within one business day — describing witness points, NDT requirements, and estimated inspector-days.
3. Pre-mobilization: NDA (if not already in force), confirmation of CV, certificates, and COI of relevant inspector.
4. On-site: Inspector arrives typically within 48 hours. Daily progress reports; NCRs issued immediately.
5. Report: English report to your template within 3 working days.
6. Follow-up: NCRs tracked to closure; corrective-action verification available.

Languages & Communication

All reports are written in English. Our inspectors are conversational in Mandarin + English. For projects requiring other languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, German, Russian), we coordinate via bilingual inspectors or partner firms.

Confidentiality & Documentation

• NDA execution is standard before any client documents (drawings, ITPs, specifications) are shared.
• Documents are stored on access-controlled systems.
• Documents are used only for the contracted task — never reused across accounts.
• Documents are returned or destroyed at engagement end per your instruction.
